WEFTA is a major scientific meeting directed to the presentation and discussion of research on aquatic product processing technology both from catch and aquaculture.
The WEFTA 2008 theme is SEAFOOD FROM CATCH AND AQUACULTURE FOR A SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY.

The WEFTA Organizing Committee invites researchers, scientists and technicians as well as professionals and managers from the seafood industry particularly involved in research and development, quality control and management for a three-day conference involving scientific and technical presentations, discussions and social contacts.

Contributions are invited for full or short presentation at the meeting. Abstract submission deadline 2nd June 2008.
Participants will be informed of the type of presentation accepted until July 17th, 2008.

The first WEFTA-AWARD will be delivered at the official banquet of meeting.
